We as humans are always trying to find the next best thing, especially within fashion. The industry revolves around image and appearance, and thus presentations are key.

Creatively and effectively presenting new ideas will always be a difficult task - people have become prone to ignoring advertisements and are skeptical towards businesses. However, no matter what, people will always be addicted to their phones and social media. Therefore, Instagram is the perfect platform to promote merchandise in an artistic yet professional manner.

Instagram recently released "Instagram Stories" fundamentally ripping off Snapchat all while making it a little bit cuter. Ouch. (Still love you Snapchat. You have better stickers. And the puppy filter.)
Stories allows users to write text on top of pictures, and unlike Snapchat where there is only one section of text, Stories allows for multiple texts throughout the picture. In addition, Stories have different pen stroke and styles to draw with, so different effects can be created.
With Stories, retailers can also make "Boomerangs" which are 5 second videos on loops. Models can blow kisses and flip hair and twirl in dresses and whatnot. Cute.

Presenting fashion in this manner forces consumers to see it whether they want to see it or not. People love to aimlessly flip through Stories and ultimately merchandise will grab their attention if they like it.
